About Us

Weber Stekcultures is a real family business. Our company was started by Koert Weber, and later taken over by son Raymond and his partner Marleen. Raymond's father started our company in 1998 at its current location in the Erica horticultural centre. In the early days, the cuttings were still housed in tunnels. The total area of the nursery is now three hectares, of which 8200 m2 is under glass.

We propagate tree nursery products that are purchased by nurserymen and pot growers at home and abroad. Our working area is the whole of Europe. Our products are distributed by external transport.

Our range comprises a number of main groups such as prunus, conifers, hydrangea, roses and holly. We respond to market demands. We mainly work to order.

We apply cold greenhouse cultivation and grow all year round. Over the years, our company has built up vast knowledge in cutting various types of ornamental shrubs.

Quality

Weber Stekcultures attaches great importance to quality. This is guaranteed by regular checks by an independent testing company. An important quality criterion for customers is uniformity of size. Therefore, we ensure that the cuttings have the same length. The quality of the supply is also kept high because the cuttings are regularly cleaned of weeds.

MPS Hallmark

Sustainability is also important in the green sector. We use biological pesticides as much as possible, such as insects that attack natural enemies. In addition, a closed water system ensures that the water is reused after treating the plants. This water is collected in a basin. We have now received the MPS quality mark for the plant trade. This quality mark guarantees environmentally friendly operations.
